The Lively neighborhood is part of the larger area of Walden, which also includes the communities Naughton, Whitefish, Beaver Lake, and Worthington.Lively is located west of the Copper Cliff neighborhood.An interesting piece of trivia is that Walden was one the largest town in Canada by land area, before it became amalgamated into the city of Greater Sudbury in 2001. Lively began as a company town for employees of the INCO Creighton Mine. Today, Lively’s role is best described as the commercial and recreational hub of Walden, as it contains the majority of the areas services and activities.
